Education

Dr. Valentina Stavrou is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a graduate of Medical University of Varna, Bulgaria. After completing medical school, she undertook her ophthalmology residency at Athens General Hospital "Elpis" in Athens, Greece.

During her training, she participated in peer-reviewed research focused on glaucoma diagnostics and advanced methods of optic nerve assessment. She subsequently pursued further training in oculoplastic surgery and facial aesthetic medicine in Greece, Italy, and Netherlands.

Dr. Stavrou provides comprehensive ophthalmic care in Paphos, Cyprus. Her clinical practice includes comprehensive vision assessment, management of dry eye disease, treatment of eyelid conditions, and retinal disorders, including wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD).

In addition to her ophthalmology practice, she specializes in facial aesthetic medicine, offering both surgical and non-surgical eyelid rejuvenation procedures with a personalized and natural approach to results.
