Vascular surgeon Dr. Papas Stylianos specialising in diagnosis and treatment of the following diseases:
- Varicose vein desease (endovenous laser obliteration, radiofrequency ablation, glue and sclerotherapy),
- Treatment of aneurysms (endovascular and open methods),
- Chronic arterial insufficiency (endovascular procedures of balloon angioplasty and stenting, as well as classical bypass surgery),
- Atherosclerosis of the carotid arteries (carotid endatectomy and stenting)
- Pelvic hypertension / circulatory varicose veins (emboli zation)
- Emergency vascular surgery (vascular injury, rupture of abdominal aortic aneurysm, acute ischemia)
- Diabetic foot
Education
Dr. Papas Stylianos graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens, Greece, in 1993. He continued his medical training and, in 1997, completed his specialization in General Surgery at the First Surgical Department, University of Athens, and Laiko Hospital, Athens. In May 2002, Dr. Papas Stylianos became a certified phlebologist and venous surgeon. Until 2003, he headed the SP Vascular Center and practiced as a private physician. From 2003 to 2006, he worked as a Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at Achillion Private Hospital, Limassol, Cyprus. Since 2006, Dr. Papas Stylianos has been practicing as a Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at Polyclinic Ygia Private Hospital, Limassol, Cyprus.
Currently, he provides services at his own clinic in Limassol, Cyprus.
