Education
Dr. Demetriades is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon – Facial Cosmetic Surgeon. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the National and Kapodestrian University of Athens, Greece and his Medical Degree (MD) from the University of Health Science of Antigua and Tufts Medical Center Boston USA. He completed his advanced education training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University and Tufts Medical Center in Boston U.S.A. In addition, he completed a fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and a Master of Science Degree, at Tufts University as well. Dr. Demetriades worked as an assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, in Boston, USA, Assistant Professor at University of Cyprus, School of Medicine and currently holds a position as an Associate Professor at European University of Cyprus, School of Medicine.
Dr. Demetriades is Dual Diplomate of the American Boards of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Boards of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr . Demetriades is currently the president of the Cyprus Association of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Demetriades is sub-specialised in Facial Cosmetic Surgery and Orthognathic Surgery. His clinical interests include facial cosmetic surgery, orthognathic surgery, obstructive sleep apnea, Craniofacial Surgery and advanced maxillofacial Surgery.
