Education
Doctor Kyriakos Neofytou completed his medical degree at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and obtained his postgraduate degree in Molecular Biology at the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Cyprus. In 2018 he completed his PhD at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. After completing his residency training in General Surgery (2013) , he continued his training and specialization in Surgical Oncology and Liver-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery (2013-2014) at the Department of Academic Surgery, Royal Marsden Hospital, London, United Kingdom.
Doctor Kyriakos Neofytou is based at American Medical Center since 2015 and deals with the full spectrum of surgical conditions that fall under his specialty (e.g. Liver-Biliary-Pancreatic Diseases, Stomach Diseases, Bowel Diseases, Abdominal Wall Diseases, etc.). In addition to open surgery, Dr. Neophytou specializes in Laparoscopic Surgery.
He has participated in more than 40 publications in prestigious international medical journals and has participated in dozens of international conferences where he presented more than 100 scientific papers.
