Doctor Giorgos Thrasyvoulidis is an orthopedic surgeon-traumatologist specializing in the treatment of sports injuries on the knee and shoulder. He maintains a private practice at the BlueCross Clinic in Pafos. In 2004 he began his Medical Studies at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian Univesrity of Athens where he graduated in 2010. In 2019 he worked as a consultant doctor in the Orthopedic and Traumatology department at the Helios Klinikum Duisburg clinic in Germany, from where he attained additional experience in fracture management. In 2020 he returned again as a consultant doctor in the of Prof. Nebelung team, this time in Vinzenz Krankenhaus Düsseldorf, until his repatriation to Cyprus.In 2019 he received the title of the Orthopedic Surgeon from the AGA-Society of Arthroscopy and Joint Surgery. Doctor Giorgos Thrasyvoulidis is one of the most acknowledged Orthopedic Surgeons in Cyprus as a member of the AGA-Society.From 2016 to 2020 he was the responsible doctor of both the U17 and U20 teams of the Düsseldorf ice-hockey. In addition, since 2019 he holds a FIFA Football medicine diploma.The experience gained by Doctor Giorgos Thrasyvoulidis, during the last 10 years, with the continuous and daily friction with a huge number of patients and by performing thousands of surgeries in combination with the non-stop postgraduate education and participation in dozens of orthopedic, trauma seminars and workshops in Germany, enabled him to be informed and be able to offer the most modern and recognized treatments in almost the entire range of orthopedic - traumatic diseases, especiallz in shoulder, knee and sport’s injuries
