Doctor Dimitrios Pitelis graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 1996. After he continued his training and specialisation in Internal Medicine at the Xanthi State Hospital and the ‘G. Papanikolaou’ State Hospital in Thessaloniki, Greece in 2000. Starting in 2000, Doctor Dimitrios started his practice and until 2018 he was the head of several private hospitals in different regions of Greece. In 2018, Doctor Dimitrios started his practice in Cyprus at Ygia Polyclinic Private Hospital. Since 2019, Doctor Dimitrios Pitelis is a private practitioner and provides services at AIMIS Clinic.

Doctor Dimitrios Pitelis is a highly regarded specialist and is well established in Cyprus. Doctor Dimitrios has numerous publications in specialist medical journals and attends medical symposia and conferences throughout Europe. This has allowed him to obtain a vast array of knowledge in the Medical field, which he applies today in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of various internal diseases.
