Education
Dr. Demis Vassiliadis graduated from the Kuban State Medical Academy in 2000.
After graduation, he specialized in surgery in France (Tours, Brest, and Paris), in Switzerland (Riaz), and in Belgium (Hornu, Namur and Charleroi), receiving the diploma of Specialist in General Surgery from Université catholique de Louvain, Belgium in 2013.
From 2016 to 2025, he worked as a general surgeon in hospitals in Brussels and Libramont (Belgium).
Currently, Dr. Demis Vassiliadis provides services at Apollonion Private Hospital, Nicosia and Scandinavian Medical Center, Limassol.
Scientific Work: Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy: Outcomes of 144 Patients with 1–4 Years of Follow-Up. 2013. Poster presented at the International Congress of Surgery of Obesity, IFSO (International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity & Metabolic Disorders), 2013, Istanbul, Turkey.
