Doctor Chris Liassides graduated in 2005 (with the degrees of B.med.Sci (Hons) and BM.BS) the University of Nottingham, UK for his Medical Studies, from which he . He then worked in Nottingham and Plymouth for two years for his Junior and Senior House Officer placements, in various specialities, respectively. Erasmus in Norway from January 2003 to June 2003 in Obstetrics and Gynaeology at the Riksohospitalet in Oslo. Upon that, Doctor Chris Liassides moved to Germany, obtaining the Specialty in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2014, working under Dr. Gabriele Bonatz, Dr. Matthias Losch and Dr. Ralf Schulze. From March to  April 2015 he attended further training courses in minimal access surgery, robotic surgery and IVF at the World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurgaon, India. He obtained the degrees of Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (F.MAS), Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery (D.MAS), Fellowship of International College of Robotic Surgeons (F.ICRS) and Fellowship in Artificial Reproductive Technologies (F.IART). Between July and December 2015, Doctor Chris Liassides carried out Locum work in many Obstetric and Gynaecology Units in England and Wales, gaining further experience from these centres. Furthermore, between January 2016 to January 2018, Doctor Chris Liassides worked for the Fetal Medicine Foundation, King’s College Hospital London, and Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham, Kent, carrying out a 2-year Fellowship in Fetal Medicine, and being involved in research studies undertaken under Professor Kypros Nicolaides. He completed the Fellowship in January 2018, obtaining the Diploma in Fetal Fellowship. Since February 2018 Doctor Chris Liasssides works permanently as ana Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Cyprus at the family owened Zoodochou Pigis Polyclinic private Hospital in Limassol.  In 2020 he completed his PhD degree on premature deliveries in collaboration. Since 2022 he has also been involved in teaching Medical Students from the St.Georges – Nicosia Univeristy during his Outpatient sessions. He recently has also been invoved in teaching final year Midwifery students at the TEPAK University in Limassol in 2023.
