Education

Doctor Monika Kesidou was born in Tsalka, Georgia. She completed her secondary education in Maikop, Russia, in 1999 and went on to study medicine in Krasnodar, graduating in 2006. After completing her medical degree in Russia, Monika returned to Greece and successfully had her degree recognized by the Hellenic Republic’s DOATAP in 2015. Following this, she began her training in Surgery and Internal Medicine at the General Hospital of Edessa in 2015 and served as a Rural Doctor at the Aridaia Health Center in 2016. Since 2016, Doctor Monika has been a Resident Doctor at the General Hospital of Thessaloniki “G. Papanikolaou,” receiving training in Primary Healthcare at the Koufalia Health Center. Her experience includes shifts in various departments, including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, and others, at “G. Papanikolaou” General Hospital. She has also handled emergency cases during her shifts at the Health Center and the Emergency Department of “G. Papanikolaou,” as part of her specialty training. Doctor Monika furthered her education with specialized training in the Pediatric Clinic at the AHEPA University Hospital of Thessaloniki and the B’ Obstetrics-Gynecology Clinic at “Hippocratio” General Hospital of Thessaloniki.
